Bone ailments can be a result of poor nutrition, over feeding, over supplementing as well as excessive over exercising. PLEASE, remember that a Mastiff puppy grows very quickly and carries a lot of weight while very young. Your puppy may look like an adult, but it is a puppy and needs puppy care. While your puppy does need to stretch his legs, it does not take much to tire him out. Do not take your puppy jogging, hiking or for long walks. Always limit climbing steps. Exercise should be slow and minimal. Always supervise your puppy when playing with other dogs and puppies. Most structure damage is done within the first 18 months of a puppy’s life. Even though your puppy may seem grown up, his bones and joints are still young and developing until almost three years. NEVER teach your PUPPY to do anything you would not want him to do as a 200 lb. ADULT.
We guarantee your puppy until 30 months of age from any congenital defect or crippling hip displasia (verified by our veterinarian) that would significantly diminish the quality of life for the puppy/dog.
This puppy is NOT guaranteed against:
1) Hypertrophic Osteodystrophy (H.O.D.)
2) Osteochondritis Dissecans (O.C.D.)
3) Panosteitis (Pano)
4) Any non-genetic disease
