At Stonehaven Cavaliers, we try to place our puppies in the most appropriate homes for them, so that both puppy and owner are happy. We ask that people fill out our questionnaire in order for us to learn more about them and what they are looking for in a puppy.

Are you looking for a puppy, young adult, retired, rescued, or any age Cavalier?
Are you looking for a show dog, performance dog, or strictly companion dog?
Do you have a color preference? If so, is that the only color you are interested in?
Do you want a male, female, or is sex not important?
Do you own a home or rent? If you rent, are pets allowed and can you provide your landlords contact information.
Do you have a fenced yard?
How do you plan for your dog to get its required exercise. For example, running in the fenced yard, go for walks with you, etc.
How many people live in your home, if any are children, please list their ages.
Do you work outside of the home? If so, how many hours per day would the dog be left alone, what arrangements if any would be made for walking, etc.
Do you have any other pets? If yes, please list.

Obviously, we all want the perfect Cavalier, but what are the most important things for your puppy to have? (ie, health, markings, looks, temperament, house trained, specific age, certain bloodlines, etc)
Have you researched the Cavalier breed and learned of their good traits, as well as bad, and of their health concerns, etc?
Our pet puppies are sold to homes on spay/neuter contracts, which means the puppy is not to be bred and is required to be spayed or neutered. Are you willing to comply with this?
