The 4 puppies are all 4 weeks old now. They are toddling around, and wagging their tails! They are so cute! Our little Merle puppies look like they have blue in their eyes. I think they will be blue and brown like their mothers. We have a little black n white boy who I think is going to be super tiny like Luey (his dad). I just took new pictures and added them to my site. They will be getting cuter by the minute now!

Our black n white parti boys and our little Merle puppies all opened their eyes! I always love it when eyes and ears open as then they really start to interact with us. Cheyennes puppies, the merles, are so chubby! She must have super rich milk. They are like fat little seals right now. Her last litter was like that to, but funny it had no effect on their sizes, they ended up being small puppies. Babs puppies, the Parti's are smaller already then I thought they would be. They are just adorable to! One is very tiny, and both right now are smaller then Cheyennes puppies. I will be curious to see how they develop size wise.
Finally we have some new puppies

Sometimes it seems like Christmas waiting for the new litters to arrive. We never know what exactly to expect, but we know its going to be amazing! I have great anxiety when a new mother is due, or even an experienced one. So much can go wrong, espeicially with these toy breeds. The waiting always takes its toll on me, I always want to be there when they deliver! Its so important! Friday morning, after many sleepless nights checking on mothers to be, both Cheyenne and Babs finally went into labor. Both at the exact same time! That has never happened before! Cheyenne had a very difficult time, but with assistance, successfully delivered two Exotic Merle puppies. I am so proud of her! She loves being a mother, and we are thrilled to welcome her and Neeko's puppies into the world! She had one very tiny Blue Merle boy and one very small Red Merle girl. Babs had two gorgeous black n white boys. Her delivery went very easy, and she needed no assistance. But she cried if I left the room, for even a moment. Its nice to be missed and needed! Her and Luey did well! I am proud of her to! Babs is now next to my bed, and Cheyenne next to my daughters bed so we can keep a very close eye and ear on the puppies this first week,. All are fat and happy though and that is a good sign!
