Woody's blog
Woody has thrived here now that he is away from Redding, CA.
He was absolutely bald when I got him back and horribly overweight. Now after loosing about 14lbs and growing hair like crazy he is healthy and ready for his new home.
Due to allergies to cats and the grasses in CA, he must live in higher elevation or coastal areas, where he will do quite well.
This sweet boy is just anxious to have his own person and is still adoptable to the right situation. |

Vicki's blog
Vicki is enjoying the fine life of retirement. Sleeping and doing what dogs love to do best, especially for a Chesapeake, eating!
May get an obedience title perhaps in rally next year with her, just for fun and to let her do something different.

Truffle's blog
I started imprinting Truffle for cadaver work last week. Since she is so much more toy driven than Barry she caught on right away, just don't know if I can take all the tugging associated with it. It sure makes my neck hurt. But honestly she caught on right away with just 3 passes of the blocks, so I think she will be my back up HRD dog. (Human Remains Detection)
I am hopeful to finish Truffle this year in conformation, as she has been shown very little. She is a smaller compact dog and this is holding her back some. |

Natalya's blog
Ya gotta love this old girl, Natalya, mother of Barry is still hanging in there at age 15. She is having some difficulty at times getting up, especially if one of the "Young whipper snappers" knocks her down. She doesn't run with them much because of this reason, seems Barry is the only one that has respect for an "old girl". |

Barry's blog
Barry and I traveled to Chico, CA this past week where we had 5 days of intensive search dog work, with other Cadaver dog handlers from multiple Sheriffs and Search & Rescue groups across the nation. We had a great time and I came home with a big homework list for myself, seems the dog works better than the handler! We had to retreat into a warehouse on two of the days because of heavy rain and strong winds, we did receive our Advanced Human Remains Certification.
