I've noticed in the last 5 months that my 18 month old, intacted male yorkie has a bad depression problem. not only has he stopped eatting, but now he has started throwing up stomack bile. The vet has done a full blood work on him and has found nothing wrong with him. at times he seems to be shaking like he's nerves, that doesn't happen all the time. he has bonded to me so i wonder if he has a sepperation problem. so would getting another yorkie help him? please help i'm very worried about him!!! he's starting to loss wieght!!!!!!!!!!!!

4/14/09 I'd have a second opinion from a second Vet. I've had Yorkies for 35 years and mine dont stop eating or get depressed, so that worries me alot. Especially throwing up so much that it is stomach bile! Yikes. I feed a premium dog food- Lifes Abundance, and it has human quality ingredients. Have them do liver shunt testing-and possible food allergy testing? If it IS only separation anxiety, then another puppy should help. Just sounds alot more serious to me. Lisa
