We have a 4 month old, 41/2 pound female yorkie. One ear stands erect almost constantly, the other is floppy and only stands if she is alerted. Is there something we can do to make the other ear stand up?

4/19/07 Id be sure to keep the ear hair shaved off with a pet or mens electric razor/shaver- keeping the weight off will help it to stand. Then make sure you dont have ear mites in her ear- brown waxy looking stuff usually indicates mites and they will make ear hurt and not stand. then you can always put an adhesive tape on the back side of the ear cut in the shape of the ear to stiffen and hold it up. But usually, if one ear goes up the other one will follow. Lisa
