hi there my mother has started breeding yorkies over the past couple of years she has 5 bitches and only one has come into season this year is this common of the yorkie breed missed seasons?

Hi,
Yorkies usually come into heat every six months like all other dogs. Sometime they will miss a cycle or two though. I have 19 Yorkies and I know that they sometimes miss a cycle, but not very often.
