I know this is a really dumb question, but because of a series of problems, I ended up not getting my yorkie spayed early enough, and now she is in heat. I've never had a dog that I didn't spay before the first heat, and I wonder if this will affect her playful personality? She's obviously hormoned out right now and isn't herself at all. Will she be herself again after this season?
Sad and missing my baby.

No unanswered question is dumb. I think your baby will be fine and should be herself soon. Dogs do go through several physical and emotional changes during their maturity as you may know, enjoy those changes together.
