A Visitor asked the following question on 7/10/2006
I have two female AKC registered yorkies, a mother and daughter. They both are about 12 pounds in weight. Is this unusual. Does it deminish their value if I decide to breed the daughter?

7/11/06 I would not breed a 12 lb yorkie, That has gone far past the standard for the breed! Debi

9/20/06 Dogs can throw traits back several generations. Being as your dogs are above the standard, I would stongly recommend you not breed them. Robin
