Why are white highland white terriors so hard to find,so adorable,&SO..... expensive?

The rarer the dog, the more they're worth. And you do get what you pay for. Most of the cheaper ones have skin problems, cushings disease, red mange... because they come from breeders that don't know or care about the quality of their dogs. You can't get entirely away from genetic defects but you should try to buy from the best breeders so that it minimizes your chance of getting a dog with major problems. Save up and get a really good one, you're going to have it for probably 15 years!
