My westie Hamish has a tumour in his genitals which he is getting removed,but he has had malassezzia for a long time and the vet isn't keen to operate until it has healed a bit more as he is still itching. I am very worried as he is not a young dog he is 9years old now, I love him so much. Other owners I have spoken to say that there is a connection between malassezzia and cancer is this true ?
