If you got a westie as a puppy would you be able to train them to not hunt?

Please don't get a puppy that was bred to do something specific and then try to train them not to do what they were made to do! Buy a breed that was bred specifically for a companion lap dog such as the Chinese Crested, the Shih Tzu, etc... if you want a dog that doesn't like to hunt.
