A Visitor asked the following question on 1/30/2006
my 11 year old westie has had an excema condition diagonosed by our vet and put on steriod and antibiotics. she has had the same food since a pup, so i don't think she has developed an allergy to it. the steroids and antibiotics haven't worked and she was diagnosed with cushings-next step is an ultrasound to determine if she has an adrenal tumor. can these two be related and i am not sure whether to proceed since between the tests and possible surgery it will run into thousands. any help is appreciated
