A Visitor asked the following question on 9/19/2004
I have a 4 year old vizsla bitch. She is a great dog that has been certified as having "good" hips.
My questions:
1) She just entered in to heat today 9/19/04- she is do for various vaccinations- ie rabies etc. Will it be a problem to breed her within the same week or two of receiving the vacinations?
2) We have zeroed in on a stud dog which is basically her cousin. This is a true line breeding with that side of the line being very clean from a health, confirmation, disposition etc. vantange point. It is important to note she is a result of an out cross so many are recommending this line breeding. Are there any concerns I should be made aware of
3) What recommendation do you have for advertising the litter & more importantly finding great homes

I am sure you have already made your decision, but I would have recommended that you wait on the vaccines until after she whelps.
