A Visitor asked the following question on 3/1/2007
What level are TT's in general as far as needing and requiring exercise? Perhaps on a 1 to 10 level, given the fact that every dog is different regardless of breed. Do they do well in a one dog family situation? thank you judy tilley

5/7/08 In general, TTs are a companion dog and will lie around for hours waiting for his master to come home or get up and do something. All dogs enjoy and need a daily walk. But if it's raining for a week straight or you're working overtime or have been sick. The TT can survive without daily exercise for short periods of time. With that said, there is definitely a wide range of activity levels within the breed. Some thrive on being busy and need extra curricular activities to stimulate them. Others are content lying around all the time. Your breeder should know his/her pups and/or dogs individually to be able to correctly match their dog with the right family. And yes, they do fine in a one dog family. Karen
