does anyone have any tips on breeding my Shih Tzu

take a very critical look at your bitch and note her shortcomings, incl teeth, eye-set (no bulging, please) general confirmation and size. Male should be strong where she's weaker, and equal or smaller for easily whelpable pups. I let my breed naturally, but sit and take each pup as it's born, to cuta& tie cords, dip in iodine, stimulate and dry. Have syringe for clearing airways and lots of washcloths for holding and drying littl-uns - they're slippery and may need lots of stimulation after clearing amnio sac.
