My wheaton terrier just turned 2 and was diagnosed w/ cataracts in both eyes. The vet doesn't seemed concerned, his reason being a dogs sense of smell is what they ultimately use. The thought of my girl going blind upsets me so much... Is there anything out there that would help slow down the growth of the cataracts, or has anyone gone thru the surgery to have them removed? Just contemplating options and would love to hear some feedback. Thanks so much!
