i am trying to breed my husky with my best friends husky, she hsas a male and i have the female. we tried to have them meet up (at her house) and just see how they get along the male showed aggression towards her, we didnt see him bite her but it seemed like it was coming. He is in heat he we locked him away from her and noticed he did have an erection. is this normal? is this how huskies usually attempt mate? my assumption is the male was being territorial, so we are planing to meet at my house soon. can some one please help, thank you.

Typically, the males are not aggessive towards the females. Please be sure that both parents are at least 2 years old, have had their hips x-rayed and their eyes checked for genetic problems. Wishing you the best.
