A Visitor asked the following question on 1/26/2009
We have a new Husky-Malamute mix and he has one weird habit. For some reason anytime we walk, he HAS TO BE IN FRONT and then sits to block the way. Even if it is walking down a flight of stairs. He will run in front and sit there to block the path. If I turn around, (on stairs or on a walking path) he will run to the opposite side and block the way. He does not growl at all, or act mean when he does this. It's almost like a Border Collie would do to a sheep. Any thoughts? Is this common?

You may have to establish that you are the pack leader. If you check out books by Cesar Millan. You can get them in Amazon.com or any bookstore.
