I was wondering if Siberian Huskies are relatively good with those who suffer from allergies.

11/1/07 This greatly depends on the severity of the human's allergies. People with mild allergies can seem to tolerate Siberian Huskies better then many other breeds of dogs as Siberians seem to have a bit less dander and are a relatively odorless and clean breed of dog. If this is a breed that you are seriously interested in, I would recommend trying to find a reputable breeder nearby or a dog show nearby and ask to interact with some Siberians and see how it affects your allergies. A 'trial run' would give you a little bit of an idea if you could tolerate them as it's better to find out if you can BEFORE making the finaicial and emotional investment into bringing one home only to find that you can't tolerate it and have to rehome the dog. Actually, they make some very good allergy medications these days- many which are labeled for pet allergies- which make living with pets possible for people who in the past couldn't. Another option is hyposensitization shots- usually a weekly or Karen
