I currently have 2 female huskies and recently they have been going at it.They are both from the same litter and are just turning 2 yrs old.They cry when they are apart but when they are together,They are at each others throat.Is this normal for 2 females?

5/2/06 It can be. Are they spayed? Some times female littermates fight worst than males. It most likely has to do with them both wanting to be on the same level in their pack order. We almost never place littermates together in the same home for this reason. They also can become dependant on each other as in that's why they cry when separated. They need to be separated so each developes their own personality. What we do is take one and leave the other home. And then switch, they also learn that the other comes back. Cindy

5/29/06 Hi I have mother father 2 sons & a daughter and the only time they fight is when one of my females is in heat. I allow all my hiskies in the house and we have very few sibling fights. my siblings are 3 are you sure they are really fighting because huskies can play really rough at times and sometimes it looks as though they are fighting.
