I am sick. I have the sweetest little 3 week old Siberian Husky/?. He has (I think) four clubbed feet. I have been told to put him down by several people, but I just can’t. Is there help for him? If so,how? Where? Who? Are there funds available to help? Please get back ASAP! Thanks, Tijie Fontana 337-802-5554 or just reply to e-mail : tijie.fontana@cpsb.org P.S. 1/6/06 What does your Vet say about this little pup? I'm assuming he's part of a litter, at least, I hope so at 3 weeks old. Does the rest of the litter have feet like this? was he born like that? when did you first notice a problem? what do the feet look like that you're calling clubbed feet? In over 20 years in this breed, I have never heard of this condition. Sheri

1/6/06 After doing a little looking around the internet for more info about this condition, not a lot out there. I did find this story and pictures about a Golden Retreiver puppy born with clubbed feet http://www.grinrescue.org/sponsor_a_golden/savannah.html. Looks like they went through a lot of surgeries and expenses to try and repair this puppies feet. I personally don't feel it's responsible to put a dog through this and would have to agree that the little fellow may be better off if you let him go. Sad yes, but the alternative could be not only costly but unfair to the pup. Sheri
