It really depends on how old he is and how much he weighs, the best way to know is to go by the back of the bag on how much to feed. You will devide it up into 3 times a day if he is 8 weeks to he is 6 months and then 2 times a day between 6 months to 1 yr old and then you could keeping feeding 2 times a day or just once a day, hope this helps you
