I have a 9 yr old male Pom. I recently noticed a small lump on his chest, almost like fatty tissue although I am afraid it could be a cyst. Is this common in Pom's?

It is common in many breeds, and poms are just one of them. Next time you are in the vet, have him/her check it to be sure.
