A Visitor asked the following question on 9/3/2006
i have a 15 lb female that I bought as a full breed with no papers, and a 7lb full breed with no papers. When she had puppies i sold them for $350, now they want they're money back because they say she's not full breed. But thats what I bought her ass, are there 15lb poms? I didn't list them as full breed, I just said poms 4 sale.

9/5/06 You should never list any breed as "full breed" unless you have verified registration paperwork from respected canine registries (ie AKC, CKC (canada), UKC (Europe) ect..). Pomeranian standard is 4-7 lbs. You should never have bred your Pom at 15 lbs. I would recommend to get her spayed. There are many mix Poms that are on the larger side. Sometimes a pomeranian may produce a large puppy from its ancestral days of being large, but those Pomeranians (for the most part) get fixed immediately. Please read the AKC Pomeranian standard for more information at http://www.akc.org/breeds/pomeranian/index.cfm Cari
