what problems should I look for in the puppies born as the result of a father daughter mateing? thanks!

1/3/06 None really, it is NOT a good habit because it can cause the negative genes to be passed on at a higher rate (i.e., deciduous teeth, bad teeth, luxating patellas, collapsing tracheas, bad ears, heart murmurs, etc). If you are worried that the pups are going to be "retarded” this really does not happen with the first inbreeding. AKC, unfortunately allows it and recognizes the litter, there should not be any major deformities that would not have been there otherwise Crystalyn
