We just bought a three-year old miniature schnauzer from a breeder listed with the MS Association. Since we've had him (three weeks) he has barked once (very gruff and low). The only other noises he makes are when he yawns. Could he have been debarked? is this legal in Canada? Can our vet tell if this has happened?
