What are the signs of worms in a great dane??

12/3/08 Same as in any breed. Tape worms and Round worms you can see in the stool. Hook worms and Whip worms you can not. Hooks, Rounds and Whips can cause poor coats, loss of weight and general anorexia. ( not wanting to eat) OR the opposite ( thin dog that eats like a horse) Best way to find out is to take a fecal sample (fresh) to your vet and have it tested. Infestation can be avoided by keeping your Dane on Interceptor ( Heart worm prevention that also does intestinal worming) Kymber
