A Visitor asked the following question on 5/30/2005
Hello, We purchased a Great Pyrenees last year. She is fabulous except for the barking. We have no clue what she sees or hears. We purchased a bark collar and that works sometimes. As soon as we take the collar off, she barks. Please help.

1/2/06 Great Pyrenees are natural barkers - it is part of the breed character. It is impossible to stop this behavior. They are more vocal at night because that is when predators are more active. If you live in town and it is an issue, the only suggestion I have is to either bring the dog inside or have her debarked. Regina
