A Visitor asked the following question on 7/8/2013
My 15 year old female golden died last night. Earlier yesterday 1000's of insect larvae suddenly appeared (hatched) in her groin area. I had been washing her daily, using an antifungal/parasitic shampoo. We are in the throes of a heat wave here in Mass. What could we have done? And do we need to throw out rugs, etc.? She had slept outside for the past few nights.
