if you have an adult female golden retriever, is it better to have a female or a male puppy come into the household? and why?

Unless your female is intact, we have never seen a difference since most Golden's are so laid back and not territorial like other dog breeds can be. We have had pups go home to an adult Golden and in most cases the adult is a female, and both sexes have done wonderfully. Hope this helped!
