I saw a dog yesterday that someone was claiming was a prue bred French Bulldog, but he looked more, and acted more, like a Boston terrier. How can I really tell the difference?

8/3/04 the difference is in the general aspect of course, boston terrier is more thin, he loos taller even if he gets the same size. It gets thiner legs and looks more athelic. a french bulldog is more massive, more muscular. I hope this helped you. Jean Louis

1/3/05 The ears are also a way to tell, not to forget the taller height... Frenchies have a more rounded ear where the boston is more on the pointed side. Frenchies are such a social beast that when excited I'd say 'yes'.. they do have more energy but not enough to jump up in your arms! They only dream of doing that! HAHA! How did it act more like a Boston? Pepper
