I am considering buying a Frenchie. A friend recently mentioned that she thinks bulldogs tend to not clean themselves after going potty and wiping may be necessary. Is that the case?

Depends on the dog. Most of my Frenchies have no problem, but I have one male I always have to wipe his bum. Depends on the shape of it. Is it an outtie or an innie. Outtie's no problem, innies you're gonna be wiping. Just my experience.
