I'd run. Considering the amount that goes into breeding a quality Frenchie it just isn't possible to sell a real one for that little. A C-section alone is $1200. That's not counting the artificial insemination, shipping of semen, collection cost, stud fee etc. etc. NOT POSSIBLE.

This is obviously a scam, run the other direction!! No breeder will sell a French Bulldog puppy for $500.
As the earlier poster said, French Bulldogs are very expensive to breed. Depending on what part of the country you live in will determin your Vet fee's. I personally only pay up to $450 for a C-section but other folks have paid upwards of $2000 without any complications.
If you have your heart set on being owned by a Frenchie and cannot afford the usual adoption cost all at once, many breeders will offer a payment plan that you can spread out until your new baby is ready to come home to you. Good luck on your search, they really are worth waiting for!
