We are considering renting our house to a man with an English Springer Spaniel 50 lbs.
Concerned about the hair loss . Any other behavorial problems.

Hair loss depends on how the dog is kept .
Grooming regularly .Even short hair breeds have hair loss at times more often .If your a renter it would not be fair to rent out to anyone with dogs if you don't consider a Springer .
How about manners ? You should be looking at how these dogs are kept .
Myself I have 9 Springer's in house and many people are at owe when they come in my house to see it is always clean and my dogs behave well .
