I have a shepherd mix (with I think Dobe). Yesterday someone told me that if my dog has lower teeth forward of and behind the upper "canine" incisors, that's a Dobe trait. Has anyone heard of this? I haven't found anything about it in my web searches. Thanks!

Someone gave you some goofy information. Canine teeth do not differentiate the breed. All breeds can have overbites or underbites, does not determine what breed you have.
