I am a over the road truck driver. I am looking for a dog for more of a companion than a security system. I am in my truck most of the time, would that type of situation be compatable for the dog?

These dogs get big, males sometimes over 120 lbs, but they are great companions. If you let the dog outside in a yard or grassy area a lot then it should be fine. I had my first Cane Corso when i was in undergrad for college and lived in a 1 bedroom apt, so I don't think the size of their surrondings really matter that much, if you have any other questions, please email me.
