ARE THERE SHORT-HAIRED COCLER SPANIELS?

There are some Cockers that have less hair all over, and shorter hair on the back. The short/flat coat on the back is prefered, when showing a dog. But the sparse/shorter coat anywhere else is not desirable, according to breed standards ...That said, there are Cockers with less hair.
