i have a cocker spaniel who is 8 years old.he has developed it in both his eyes.what treatment should he be given?is surgery the only treatment?

12/17/05 Surgery is the only best way to treat. There are meds you can give I believe. I help with a rescue and we had a Yorkie with cataracts and they gave her drops. Find a good vet that knows a lot about the eyes. But surgery is the best way though, sorry to hear the news! Good Luck! Amy
