Is there such a thing as toy , or mini shar peis? If so how big do they get and where can I get one, I live in in NY.

Most people refer to the small (undersized) Shar-Peis as Mini or toy. AKC does not recognize any thing other that Chinese Shar-Pei. There are also breeders out there that will sell smaller pups as minis, these pups are still just Chinese Shar-Peis to AKC. These pups are too small to show and in some cases too small to breed. So paying more for a "mini" is not worth the money. I sell my smaller pups that I know will not be of size as pet quality pups for less and with a spay/neuter contract.
