A Visitor asked the following question on 2/18/2007
I recently bought a new chi. When I take him out or when others are around he walks with his tail tucked alot. I assume it is because he is nervous or scared or doesnt like the night air. Am I right or do I have something to worry about. He likes a lot of attention and he likes to be held alot. He is only 10 weeks old

Sounds like he was not socilized as a baby. It would be good to have other people hold him and show him he has nothing to fear. A good book to have is Chihuahuas For Dummies.
