generally a chihuahua will go into heat every 6 months however some may have different langth cycles like many women. After welping they should go into a heat about 4 month after having pups and than again about 6 month after that. It is not recomended to breed each heat cycle.

if your dog is unregistered get is spayed...if your dog is registered but has a shitty pedigree get her spayed...if she is not show quality or being bred to a show male get her spayed...then it is 7 to 10 days into heat..7 to 10 days standing heat and 7 to 10 dyas out of heat.
