Can anyone reccomend an effective training book for espesially difficult/stubborn Bassenji's (approx. 8 months old)?

Yes! This age can be very trying, but they WILL grow out of it. A very good book is The Basenji Owner's Manual, put out by the Evergreen Basenji Club in Washington. It's $8.00 plus s/h, and all money goes to their nonprofit organization.
