My basenji, Pharos has started to scrath the same spot on his body to (almost) baldness. The only thing I can think of were the two ticks I removed. (properly) When I douse the area with skin-oil it seems to temporarily (24+ hours) relieve the itch. He also has a problem with dandruff but that is not specifically localized or a major issue.
Any ideas?
My dog: Pharos' dad is a multiple world champion (Sparky) and his mom (Safari) is a brindle european champion.
