absalutly. They are known for their protection for the family. They love kids. Like all dogs, even the little bitty dogs; they need training. Like children they need to know when they do something wrong and need to be praised when doing something right.

Boxers are EXCELLENT with children. We have a 5 year old and one on the way and I don't have a single worry in the world about my dogs. They like all dogs though do have to have proper training in how to be a good member of the family.

I agree…there is no-doubt in my mind that if you want a children friendly dog a “Boxer” is the dog for you!!!:-)
