A Visitor asked the following question on 2/26/2008
where do I look to find out if a boxer is of champion bloodlines? Is it on the AKC papers?

2/27/08 A good breeder should have a 3 to 4 generation pedigree showing the lines of any pup they have whelped. You can also go thru AKC as long as they are reg with them. Sandi Dunn or

3/13/08 Generally speaking "champion bloodlines" aren't worth much; often it just means there was one champion about six generations back. As Sandi said, you can purchase a 3-4 generation pedigree from the AKC that will have any champions of record listed - to find out about champions further back you'd either need to order pedigrees on the grandparents/great-grandparents, or if you know the specific champion's name you can get their information from the AKC. 7/10/08 If your looking for a good breeder the CH. linage should be close Like Ch.bred.or Grfather should be CH.and Greatgr father should be CH and at least on the mothers side up close CH linage no further the 3 genertation back. Make sure you check the mouth and teeth, conformation lines in the body. Nellie
