A Visitor asked the following question on 7/27/2007
my boxer has had 6 puppies and has been digging and lying in holes, I quess to keep cool. Except her hair is starting to come out and their is an area about size of quarter yellowish in color but no drainage. I have contacted my vet,so, I have been cleaning and putting triple antibiotic on it. Is this usual in boxers?

they totally loose their hair, some more then other's. the spots would worry me, did the vet take a look at her? If not I would take her in anyway.
You can never be to careful.
