A Visitor asked the following question on 3/30/2006
Our Bichon had been healthy up until Jan of this year when her blood test showed her BUN level was high. Her levels a year prior had been normal. We tried everything the vet recommended, however she died after her level reached 191 and she started to have heart failure. Is there something specific that could have caused the kidneys to go? We were always very aware of what she ate. I am having a hard time excepting the "these things happen"

Have you checked to see if it could be this DOG FOOD STUFF check with your vet again.lots of thing have changes since your last visit I'l bet..wish I could of helped
