my inlaws have a american toy eskimo and i have a 5 month old baby girl i am a little nervous to have her around the dog should i be?

It depends on how rambunctious their dog is. Eskies tend to be very high energy and could knock a baby sitting on the floor over by mastake, but then I also have a couple eskies that are very calm house dogs and i would have no trouble having a little baby in the house around them. I'd introduce them and see how mindful the dog is of the childs delicateness then go from there :)
