What are thae common congenital defects seen in Afghan hounds?

Well not exactly "common" but hip dysplasia does occur in the breed. Juvenile cataracts, thyroid disfunction, and autoimmune diseases have also occured. None of these are overly prevalent in the breed but its always best to buy from clear certified parents to be on the safe side.
